Mark Drever is the President, CEO and founding partner of Celerity Government Solutions, which opened for business on September 11, 2009. Mark founded the business with one goal in mind – To Help Make America Safer. Mark is responsible for developing and implementing Celerity Government Solutions’ business strategy, managing investor relations, and providing the day-to-day management and oversight of the company’s operations.
Through creative partnering approaches and competitive service offerings, Mark successfully led Celerity Government Solutions into the Federal sector, growing the company exponentially since its inception. The company’s growth is a result of significant accounts with the Defense Security Service (DSS), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) , Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and a number of agencies within the Intelligence Community (IC). Celerity Government Solutions has won prime contract vehicles with the DHS, DLA, DISA, DSS, FBI, Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC), Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Government Accountability Office (GAO), Department of the Army, Department of the Navy, General Services Administration (GSA), and the U.S. Senate. These contract vehicles provide opportunities for further growth. Celerity Government Solutions’ all-organic success has earned Celerity Government Solutions multiple honors on the Washington Business Journal’s (WBJ) 50 Fastest Growing Companies and Best Places to Work Lists, as well as four consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies.
Mark brings more than 20 years of management consulting experience with Fortune 100 companies, including serving as an Account Executive and Consulting Practice Leader at PwC / IBM, where he built and managed a portfolio of more than 30 Federal programs, contributing $50M in annual revenue. Mark’s successful business development efforts at IBM and Celerity Government Solutions have resulted in more than $500M in new business signings.
Mark holds a B.A. in Politics and Government from Ohio Wesleyan University, and an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from The University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) where he serves on the Executive Committee as Member-at-Large and Forum Moderator. In 2014, Mark graduated from the MissionLink CEO class. He is an active member of the Professional Services Council (PSC) and has been selected to lead various industry activities with top government decision makers. Mark is a regular guest speaker at the Defense Acquisition University and has served as a featured panelist at the Wharton Innovation Summit, speaking on the “Do’s and Don’ts of Entrepreneurship.” A lifelong learner, he has been a member of the VISTAGE and GAP International Leadership Development programs, focused on growing his personal and professional leadership skills. Mark is active in the Wounded Warrior Project and had the honor of participating in the Washington, D.C. Soldier Ride where he personally raised over $20,000 in less than one week to support wounded veterans. In 2011, Mark was named one of EnVest Foundation’s “40-under-40” for his significant professional and philanthropic contributions to the D.C. community. In 2015, he was named one of the WBJ “40-under-40.” In both 2015 and 2016, Mark was honored to be a finalist for the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year.
Mark volunteers as a coach for various Ashburn, VA youth programs and is an assistant scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America. An avid outdoorsman, Mark owns a gentleman’s farm in Leesburg, VA where he lives with his children, Jacob and Abigail, and their two English Bulldogs, Coco and Chip.
